提要：是书为大型词集，编者朱祖谋近三十年之功，遍求南北藏书家善本校勘，凡得唐五代宋金元词总集4种，唐词别集1种，宋词别集120种，元词50种。其编纂之善，一在校勘，虽据古本却不拘泥于古本，惟取至是；二在审定声律，于宫词旁谱之属，莫不悉心校定，纵使音节不传者，经朱祖谋审定亦可稍复旧观，上口朗诵。拍品为沈尹默先生旧藏，封面原有沈先生题字，已被撤去。沈氏珍秘、沈尹默
