说明：花插白玉为材，玉质光洁，温润可人，局部留棕红沁色。圆雕作一段竹节生于嶙峋山岩之间，有竹枝、灵芝探生于侧畔，颇为生动。花插正面，圆雕一凤鸟俏立竹节旁侧，其丰羽长翎，周身羽翼根根细刻而出，治玉工艺颇为精妙。显出乾隆时期的治玉风格。存原配底座 此类以凤鸟、竹枝为题材的花插，在乾隆宫廷颇为流行，乃取“鸣凤在竹，白驹食场。化被草木，赖及万方”之吉寓。 参阅：今北京故宫博物院藏有一件青玉鸣凤在竹图双连花插（故00098336），其上竹节、凤鸟之形象与本品殊为相似，可资参照（附图1）
