说明：此式天鸡尊造型，可追溯至先秦青铜器之造型，自东周至汉代皆有此类融入凤鸟形象的青铜尊。至清中期始，宫中古物繁多，帝王亦嗜古成癖，故宫中铜器多见摹古仿制者，此器即为一例。 器作天鸡驮尊造型，可见天鸡高冠长翎，尾羽垂地，周身及铜尊之上皆细密浮雕仿古卷云纹与雷纹，并错金银为饰，追摹商周古韵之余亦具新风，颇具时代特色。此器之造型，与《西清古鉴》卷九所载“周鸡尊一”殊为相似，或为摹宫中原器所作，别具韵味。此天鸡尊原配红木底座，承托器身十分合宜，原器原座更显难得。 记录：北京匡时2016年春拍，Lot 3443 参阅：《西清古鉴》卷九 周鸡尊一（附图1）
