玉炉白玉材质，玉质细腻温润而色泽雪白，表面抛光精良呈现亚玻璃光泽。整体呈带盖的鼎式炉造型，顶部子母口带盖，通身浅浮雕雕刻博古饕餮纹，饕餮纹婉转而刚劲，颇为传神。器身广肩圆腹，两侧作兽面衔活环耳，兽面塑造威严霸气；底部作三枚兽蹄足，不加纹饰雕琢。整体造型典雅大气，纹饰雕琢细腻传神，为文房陈设收藏难得精品玉器。
