六曲屏风成对，皆以水墨绘瀛海之滨仙鹤栖息之景，画面下部海浪翻涌，惊涛拍岸，颇有狩野派粗犷明快之气。上部没骨淡墨点染，亦云亦山，似隐似现，朗空之中一侧仙鹤十一只，结队如桥，或展翅而翔，或缩颈一跃入水，另一侧绘仙鹤八只，或当空翱翔，或栖羽而息，身姿优雅。仙鹤形态饱含南画风骨。作品应为高阶武士或士族应需绘制。
