钧瓷，一般认为最早可追溯到唐晚鲁山花瓷，对于花口，一般认为唐四，宋五，即花瓣口五片及以上为宋，钧瓷釉为乳浊釉，釉色不通透，烧制无法或极难人为控制釉色及红斑或紧斑，古人云：入窑一色，出窑万彩。 色斑呈流淌性，应是施釉厚且古时烧窑用木材，升温较缓，釉便在自然流趟中慢慢烧结的原故。色斑入及釉内，边缘过渡自然。仿品因现代电、气炉烧成，快速升温、形成的釉面无厚薄流淌之感，釉面呆板；人为点斑导致色斑有明显飘浮釉上之感，色斑僵滞毫无灵动渐变自然过渡，顿失自然天成之妙！
