H：9cm L：13cm Wt：194g 鸚鵡杯一般作兩種制式：一為鸚鵡螺製或鸚鵡螺形酒器，二為鸚鵡身軀形。本件純銀鸚鵡杯即屬第二類。隋唐時期，此式多見於三彩或白瓷中，如河北省文物研究所藏內丘縣城西關北窯址發現的隋白釉鸚鵡形杯。本器通體青碧色，鸚鵡大眼圓瞪，鳥喙微張啼鳴，身軀之上弧線作羽翅狀，兩翼曲線伸展成杯，雙足藏於器內。整器造型古樸，生動逼真，渾然天成，傳世銀製者罕有。 駱賓王《蕩子從軍賦》：“鳳凰樓上罷吹簫，鸚鵡杯中休勸酒。”又有盧照鄰《長安古意》詩：“漢代金吾千騎來，翡翠屠蘇鸚鵡杯。”唐代以鸚鵡杯承酒，詩中多有涉獵。
