艾迪．馬丁內斯，於1977年出生，從小就對藝術有著濃厚的興趣。稱呼他為「天生的藝術家」並不為過，雖然曾在波士頓的藝術學院讀書，但他其實只在那待了短暫的時間，可說他是個自學成才的藝術家。 他是一位寡言的藝術家，但從他帶勁的揮筆、天馬行空的線條和隨性的材料運用，可見作品已代替他表達了對生活的種種感受。
