馬蒂亞斯．桑切斯為1972年出生於德國安達盧西亞的藝術家，現定居於西班牙塞維亞。馬蒂亞斯．桑切斯作品的特色是厚塗油畫中怪誕誇張的人物，咧嘴的神情看似詭異但又有些古靈精怪的喜感，每一幅作品都刻畫了藝術家腦海中異想天開的世界。近年來他參加了許多重要的國際藝術博覽會，他的作品也被南加州大學藝術博物館以及紐約、洛杉磯、香港、西班牙、巴黎等各地藝廊所收藏。
