此莲花生大士像精铜铸造而成,通体鎏金工艺,金光烁烁,华贵气息浓厚。跏趺而坐于单层宝座上，上沿围有一圈联珠纹。头戴折沿帽,项饰项链，身穿稠叠厚重的僧衣,铺散在宝座中,足踏藏式云头靴。右手持金刚法器,左手托宝器于腹前,姿态生动自然。整体把握精准,面相端严威仪,雕刻手法纯熟、洗练,尤其是衣纹的表现尤为流畅生动,注重表现衣饰的层次关系和衣褶纹路的起承转合,既能感觉到内在身体的真实存在感,又体现出衣服自然垂下的走势,十分到位。
