大清银币（户部）是清代机制银币的代表之一，以其精美的设计和珍罕的存世量而著称。其设计体现了满清皇权制度在货币领域的权威，由设计界顶级高手精心设计，制作精美绝伦。这些银币是在海关总税务司赫德的监督下，由天津造币厂完成的。鉴于其库平一两的重量设计与库平七钱二分的国际、国内市场惯例不符，制作成本过高，自1903年下半年制作一批后，一直没有流通，就被回炉，所以旷世罕见。
