棒槌瓶样式为清康熙年间创制，多为景德镇民窑烧制，以形似洗衣用棒槌而得名，此瓶为典型的棒棰瓶造型。折口板沿式，细颈，瓶腹粗长且近似直筒状，腹下部微内敛，底部有圈足。瓶口沿外面为三角形几何纹，颈部为如意云头和雷纹、城墙垛口纹，颈部与肩部之间亦为一圈墨云图案；腹部无其他辅助纹饰，描绘《水浒》故事中绿林首领款别朋友图案，绘山中峰石林立，祥云缭绕，松枝点点，众梁山好汉立于大路间，中央为头戴双翎冠、身着朝服的首领，其身后及旁边跟随侍从多人，手持旗幡、长刀和酒壶等器具，正为一儒者把酒送行；瓶底部为白釉素面，无底款。该瓶青花绘画层次丰富，用笔精心，具有鲜明的“五色青花”特点，应为康熙年间生产的青花器。
