十二花神杯的创作灵感源于传统花朝节的传说，选取农历十二个月份的月令花卉绘制而成，每只杯上按一年12个月中的每月指代一个花神。十二花神杯的造型轻灵娟秀，胎体薄如蝉翼，色彩清新淡雅，釉面细润洁白。每只杯上绘有一种应时花卉，并题有相应的诗句，诗句大多取自《全唐诗》，诗意与画意相得益彰。杯壁一面绘画，另一面题诗，风格雅致绝伦。
