陈子庄(1913-1976)，原名陈福贵，又名陈思进，字子庄，号兰园、又号石壶、南源、下里巴人，四川荣昌(今重庆永川)人。自幼受其父熏陶，酷爱绘画，同时拜师习武，竟成一方武林高手。1927年开始浪迹江湖，游览巴山蜀水，靠教拳术和卖画维生。1937年，参加成都武术打擂，获金奖，受王瓒绪的青睐，后奉王之命赴上海迎接黄宾虹游蜀，获学习机会。1955年受聘为四川省文史馆馆员，国画组组长，是四川省政协委员。擅长山水，多写农家小景，逸笔草草，奇趣横生，耐人寻味。亦能花鸟。著有《陈子庄作品选》、《石壶画集》、《石壶论画语要》、《陈子庄画集》、《陈子庄谈艺录》等。
