此件文方匾乃木制，通体老旧沉熟，表面斑驳有旧气，似是经历了沧桑岁月仍巍然不倒，带着时光之刻痕而来，展现别样的风采。匾上正中阳刻“乾坤正气”四个大字，字体豪放流畅，刚劲有力，书刻俱佳。左右配铭文“弟子牛瑜敬乾隆嵗次丁未葭月榖旦”。此件匾额书体洒脱奔放，又严于法度。落笔不苟，点画精到，深有意态;用笔迅疾，淋漓酣畅，笔力劲健，气势磅礴。寥寥四字却强调在统一中力求变化，在变化中达到统一，把裹与藏、肥与瘦、疏与密、简与繁等对立因素融合起来，也就是“骨筋、皮肉、脂泽、风神俱全，犹如一佳士也”。
