本品神兽造型依原石形状而出，应为青玉带皮受沁，钙化痕迹明显，形象巧妙，似羊却带独角，眼带垂眉。此种造型极为独特，在两汉出土玉器中亦极为少见，唯图1所见西汉玉器的羊形与之相似，可做为比对。此兽作卧伏状，四肢盘曲，肌肉线条强健有力。兽首前望，圆而有神的双目直视远方，雕工巧妙，丰润可爱，加上撒金般的皮色，可谓锦上添花。此等带有汉朝遗风雕刻出的瑞兽生动可爱，加之表情传神，在市场上实为少见
