底款：自古及今，无有不可。陈，鸣远。 |此壶工艺严谨，设计圆润端正，凝重沉稳。盖如帽檐，边沿棱角分明，正中突起，平顶，其上置扁圆钮。壶身有如圆筒，短颈折肩，肩直下至足，底平。壶流斜上而起，笔挺而出，令壶口出水有力。壶把较壶流纤钿，上阔下窄，形若耳。选用朱泥烧制，色泽红而不嫣，润比玉面，姿比凝铜。壶底刻铭文“自古及今，无有不可”，落陈鸣远印章款。陈鸣远，本名远，号鹤峰，崔邨，又号石霞山人，壶隐，清康熙年间宜兴紫砂名艺人，出生于紫砂世家，所制茶具、雅玩达数十种，无不精美绝伦，因此后世多有托名之作
