ELEGANTER PINSELBECHER. China. Ming-Dynastie. 15. Jh. Longquan-Öfen. Cremeweißer Steinzeugscherben mit dicker Wandung, am Fußring im Brand eisenrot verfärbt, mit einer transparenten, krakelierten Seladonglasur. Das zylindrische Gefäß mit deutlichen Drehrillen, welche die Wandung lebendig werden lassen. Im Inneren ist eine dünne, transparente Glasur aufgetragen, nur im oberen Teil mit Seladonglasur und außen. Am Boden ist die Materialstärke so dick, dass im Brand ein Riss aufgetreten ist.Vermutlich war dieses Gefäß einst eine Vase und wurde gekürzt, um einen Pinselbecher daraus herzustellen. H. 15cm, Ø 9,4cm. Zustand C. Rand oben beschliffen, Bestoßungen am Fußring. Beilage: Passgenauer, sechseckiger Holzsockel mit Gebrauchsspuren. Ming dynasty. 15th c. Longquan kiln. Cream-coloured thick walled stoneware, at the footring iron red from firing. Completely covered with a transparent, crazed celadon glaze. The cylindrical pot rutted distinctly by throwing, which gives vividness to the body. Inside glaze with a thin, transparent glaze, only in the upper part with celadon, on the outside completely. At the foot the body is thick, resulting in a firing crack. Probably this bitong was made from another shape, like a vase. H. 15cm, Ø 9,4cm. Condition C. Rim cut and polished, footring worked with some imperfections, as typical for this kiln. Supplement: Exactly fitting, hexagonal wooden base with traces of use.
