|注释：|此为钱钟书致龙榆生信札及信封，用北京大学信笺。感谢龙榆生赠词选数种：“奉惠赐词选多种，合之先购者遂各有副本，真好物不嫌多也”。另外，钱钟书提到自己父亲钱基博曾藏谭献（复堂）等书信六百通，另有庄棫（仲白）、张景祁（韵梅）等人书信十余通，自己当择日抄出其中与词学相关者，寄奉龙榆生，当为龙榆生编《词学季刊》之用。此函另存原寄封，地址写上海市南昌路125号。当时龙榆生住在香山公寓105号。1952年，钱钟书曾在给龙榆生的信中写道：“晚事繁才薄，体力日衰。一息尚存，安能自逸。时不我与，忽又改岁，怀抱凄寂，只堪为知己道耳！”同时，随信还寄上了《黄山谷诗补注》一文，当为帮助于龙榆生校订《山谷词》，从中可见两人惺惺相惜之情。
