|注释：|此为蔡若虹致严文井信札一通，钤“蔡若虹”白文印。录其1972年旧作《答友人》，诗：“早起磨镰夜看瓜，几生修得种庄稼。辉煌事业求根本，惨淡生涯重物华。自食自劳非犬马，无私无愧傲龙蛇。人间由我添颜色，寂寞荒园又着花”。蔡若虹是新中国美术奠基人之一，也是著名美术家和社会活动家，建国后历任《人民日报》美术编辑、文化部艺术局副局长、中国画研究院副院长。诗作的上款人应为严文井（1915-2005），历任延安鲁艺文学系教师、《东北日报》副总编辑、中宣部文艺处处长、《人民文学》主编。
