此炉以宣德炉之簋式为蓝本，以青玉为材雕琢而成，色沉稳，质油润，形厚重。炉为平口外侈，束颈，弧度自然，鼓腹下垂，下承圈足。两侧饰以兽首耳，雕刻写实生动，精工细作，威猛气势不彰自现。腹部饰以绳纹一周，阴线刻画规整，繁而不乱。整器观之，无论是其玉质、雕工，抑或是所表现出的气韵，均为文房妙品。刘仲龙：苏州玉雕名家
