|此龙通体受红沁，呈扁平状，玉龙昂首前视，头顶呈分叉龙角，眼角稍长，头搭于尾部，龙身镂雕绕成一环状，并以阴刻细线刻画龙身皱褶及纹饰。龙是古代权威的象征，随时代的演变，龙的造型亦不断变化。此龙属于东汉常见的龙佩造型。此咬尾龙设计巧妙，层次丰富，栩栩如生，而其龙首正面向前亦使其与众不同，加上玉匠刻画细腻，鬼斧神工，此红沁玉龙实属东汉龙型佩中的稀有上品。
