|玉质温润洁白。四支灵芝相连，两支昂首向上，两支垂头向下，皆作品字形如意云头状，背面平素。该器造型浑厚，雕工简练粗放，磨工极佳，灵芝谓为仙草，服之可长寿，神话传说能起死回生，有「不死药」之称，世间稀少，得之不易，自古被视为祥瑞的象征。《孝经·授神契》载：「王者德至草木则芝草生。」《白虎通》：「王者德至山则芝宝茂。」故此，历代统治者都以得到灵芝为荣，藉以标榜自己圣明有德。
