|来源：台湾藏家重要收藏||秦与中原诸国相比较， 立国较晚， 如《史记• 秦本纪》所言“ 秦僻在雍州， 不与中国诸侯之会盟， 夷翟遇之”。因此秦国玉器的造型、纹饰、工艺与东方诸国均不尽相同，有较为鲜明的特征。此类秦玉璋形器出土时多位于棺木两侧，因此有专家认为属棺饰玉。秦式玉器风格产生于春秋中期， 成熟于春秋晚期， 战国时期虽然仍有延续，但总体上呈衰落趋势，虽然秦国后来一统中华，但仅传三世，共两帝一王，国祚共十四年，故而秦式玉器存世很少，非常难得。
