盘撇口出沿，折腰圈足。内壁口沿处描绘一圈胭脂红地金线十字花锦纹，之内为堆粉花卉纹，折腰饰一周粉地锦纹，置四处开光，内有花卉。盘内心主题为雉鸡牡丹图，在装饰上勾描雉鸡、牡丹、洞石等，寓意“吉祥富贵”，这种借物寓意的装饰手法在清代瓷器上很流行。此盘构图严谨，运笔流畅，色彩绚丽，雉鸡的形象栩栩如生，盛开的牡丹花、飞舞的彩蝶更为画面平添了几分生机，是为妙品。
