此瓶直口微撇，颈较短，圆腹圈足。内以青花署“大清乾隆年制”双行六字篆书款。瓶身满绘青花云龙纹，自瓶底至颈部，一条蛟龙盘曲飞舞，穿行火云之间，追逐一颗被火焰包围的宝珠，整个画面极富动感，空间感较强，突出了主题纹饰，青花发色沉稳，制作精巧，整体品相亦较好，无大的变形，较为难得，实为佳品。天球瓶是明永乐、宣德时期景德镇窑的创新器形。是由西亚地区的类似器物发展而来，见有青花等品种，由于体形硕大，烧造不易，故是较难的的陈设器。
