这件广彩大碗造型丰满，圆口深腹，圈足，以金彩为地，上绘缠枝卷草纹和瓜瓞纹为边饰，外壁有上下两重开光纹饰，内绘花鸟和戏曲人物故事，内壁亦为两重开光纹饰，碗心有四个扇形开光，纹饰严谨富丽，极富层次感，用彩以红绿两色为主，构图丰满，用彩艳丽，因为当时广彩主要是供外销，故画风比较符合当时欧洲购买者的审美观，同时画面中出现了喜鹊、蔓瓜等中国绘画元素，表明也杂糅进了中国的审美特点，是一件典型的中西艺术融合的产物。
