这件鼓钉洗外形为圆口，微内敛，口沿无釉，上下两端饰有一圈鼓钉，底面微凹，胎质细腻洁白，釉层肥润，呈青碧色，如玉似冰，内心书篆体“大清乾隆年制”款，制作极为秀巧。鼓钉罐出现于宋代，钧窑、龙泉窑均有烧造，由于乾隆年间收藏赏古之风极为盛行，故有仿造。此物便是当时的典型器，造型周正，品相完美，实为一件案头珍玩。
