这件瓷狮子呈立式，通体施白釉，釉面浑厚温润，四足着地，狮头昂扬，双目圆睁，尾部翘起，有气孔，一只小狮子攀于右前腿上。狮子站姿端正却不呆板，尤其是小狮子，使整体造型更显灵动，充满情趣。狮子被誉为“百兽之王”，是从非洲引进中国的异兽，十分珍贵，同时大小狮子谐音“太师少师”，寓意多子多福，且升官得势，是一组十分祥瑞的案头陈设器。
