此物圆口深腹，矮圈足，内写“大清乾隆仿古”篆书款，器型小巧玲珑，胎体较白，青花发色稳定，深稳沉静，题字笔法刚劲流畅，明显有宋楷的笔法韵味，鸡雏贴地而行，孩童欢愉游戏，绘画仔细，实为妙笔，此物是一件典型的民国时期仿乾隆斗彩的器物，有较浓厚的官窑韵味，自清代灭亡后，御器场解散，工匠各谋生路，多以生产各类仿官窑器为生，故民国的仿官器多得其精髓，也是民国仿古瓷器的重要特征，此物制作精美，殊为难得。
