砚为端溪老坑佳石所制，饱满圆厚，有大片蕉叶白，为石中极细嫩之处，见火捺及青花点点。砚身雕琢呈岩石状，层次居多，片片而上。砚池形状独特，砚堂平整，见松皮纹。砚背后落“经釧堂珍藏货”六字款。配黄花梨砚盒，盖上以玉琢双螭龙形纹饰。
