Description

圆形，擗踴式，砚膛平坦，刻“赐砚”二字。边沿琢细缘挡水，外有石渠环绕以存墨，琢鼓钉纹；外壁雕刻变体夔龙纹，仿自商周青铜纹饰。底承三兽面高足，局部可见描金，惜已锈迹斑驳，如同青铜绿锈般。此砚形制高古，砚体厚重，纹饰繁缛精美，体现了乾隆朝无所不工的艺术品味。底钤印“古稀天子”款。
