吴养木旧藏|砚山为文房清供之佳器，历来颇受文人雅士所爱。史载宋代米芾得到南唐后主李煜旧物-灵璧石“研山”后十分喜爱。他“抱眠三日”（《实为志林》记载），狂喜之极，即兴挥毫，留下了传世珍品《研山铭》（现藏故宫博物院），成为一段佳话。此砚山取石中珍品灵璧随形雕就而成，色泽青黑，包浆莹润。砚山形态奇异，共有五峰，山峦奇特，洞壑幽深，石形极佳，可以置笔，可以陈设，为案头佳器。下设紫檀木座，色泽幽深。
