|平头案通体黑漆地，桌面薄螺钿嵌锦地为框，内螺钿嵌花鸟图，画面中兰花盛开，芳香引蝶而至，枝叶繁茂，小鸟翩然翻飞，装饰繁而不乱，层次分明，瑰丽璀璨。边抹、牙头及案腿两侧亦贴嵌锦地。案形腿之间装透雕灵芝纹挡板，腿下接托泥座，周匝饰梅花纹。此案制作精美，边线匀直，棱角方正，充分体现了明代螺钿家具的俊美、华丽的风格。
