|平头案铁梨木制成，原始皮壳老辣，属原来头家具，甚为难得。此案形制经典，窄而长的牙板给此案增添了几许冷俊的美感。案面的厚度，牙板的宽度与腿足直径比例协调。全器造型流畅，器型完美，文化底韵深厚。此案用材甚硕，圆腿足甚为粗壮，外撇香炉腿，如柱子矗立，侧面腿足间各置两根横枨。刀牙板牙头曲线柔婉，用料甚厚，牙头和牙条相合的榫卯也做得从容自如。历来所见平头案，此案属于壮硕者，然而各处比例拿捏到位，并不觉得有笨重之感。原始皮壳使之气质内敛。造型简洁，代表了明式家具的空灵高雅韵味。
