|纹理直而结构细密，是为上品。阴刻黄慎刻画寿星图。工艺均极为精细，纹饰均一丝不苟的加以表现，诗文书法圆润流畅，如行云流水，当是以黄慎画为范本精摹而成。|黄慎，初名盛，字公懋、躬懋，康熙六十年更名慎，雍正四年改字恭寿，别号瘿瓢山人，简称瘿瓢、瘿瓢子，东海布衣、苍玉洞人、胡涂居士等，福建宁化县人，定居扬州。工诗，善草书，尤擅人物、花鸟、山水，早年工笔人物，受上官周影响，气象雄伟，自创一格，对后世人物画影响很大。山水取法倪、黄，写意花卉神韵生动，得荒率之致。擅长草得寿于跃跃黄慎瘿瓢书，学怀素兼取孙过庭、颜鲁公笔法，自辟蹊径，形成独特风格。为“扬州八怪”之一。
