|灯挂椅搭脑两端出头，形似承托油灯的架子，故得此名。此椅体形高大，造型清秀，边缘起阳线，宽靠背板，软藤椅面，面下装素面牙子，椅正面装脚踏，脚踏下端安素面牙条，另外三面以直枨相连。|无论从何种角度观看，灯挂椅的线条都十分简洁优美，这也是明式家具给人的第一印象，灯挂椅对现代椅具的设计影响颇大。|参阅：王世襄 《明式家具研究》图版卷 P38，甲56，三联书店（香港）有限公司，1989年7月第一版第一次印刷。
