|此件观音像为白玉制成，呈站姿，高髻宽额，弯眉垂目，宽鼻小口，神态肃穆，身着长袍，跣足，衣纹发丝线条柔美流畅，疏密合宜。两手分别执净瓶和拂尘，象征着观音菩萨的无边法力和开启佛智、祛除世俗烦恼的无上智慧之意。|此种观音的形象是由杨枝观音演变来的，杨枝观音源于明代普陀山杨枝观音碑中的形象，是以唐代阎立本所绘的观音像为蓝本镌刻。据唐朝义净法师所著的《南海寄归内法传》所述，西域习俗，以杨枝剔齿，称齿木。贵客均赠齿木及净水，以表示祝人健康及恳请之意。所以供养菩萨也用杨枝净水。后成为观音菩萨手中的法器，以喻护佑信众无疾之意。
