|拍品由上乘黄玉制成，莹润中略带糖色，古雅动人。外壁刻乾隆御题诗“御题玉簪诗，花色白多香，玉簮最郁烈，美人起晨装，搔头一枝折”，此诗出自乾隆御制诗《玉簪》，配合诗文刻玉簪花图案，花朵舒展，似有淡香逸出。整器诗图并茂，相辅相成。扳指是拉弓射箭扣弦所用之器，满族善骑射，以骁勇善战定天下，乾隆皇帝亦多次到木兰围场狩猎习武，故宫博物院所藏《乾隆大阅图》和《威狐射鹿图》等绘画作品中皆可见乾隆皇帝佩戴扳指的图像。乾隆皇帝诗作丰富，并常命人将其御题诗镌刻于其喜爱的器物之上，此件用材上佳，御铭、图案刻工精细，画意十足，除宫廷御用不能作此。|参阅：《清高宗御制诗二集•卷八十七》，页十八。
