1) Tramp Art Matchstick Covered Box. Late 19th or early 20th century, American. The rectangular box mimicking a blanket chest with central inlaid heart flanked by inlaid diamonds. The rectangular lid with matchstick geometric decoration and diamond inlays opening to an interior with hidden tray sliding open to second storage well. The case with flattened walnut mid molding above shaped bracket base. 5-1/2" high x 9-1/4" long x 5-1/3" wide. Original surface with mellow patina with normal and expected in-use wear and abrasions. Losses to the upper right and left corner trim, otherwise good. 2) Outstanding pair of Tramp Art Carved Wood Frames. The rectangular frames having a zig-zag pattern crisscrossing at the corners and having a five step decoration to corners. Original glass. Each frame having a chromolithograph of men delivering speeches in The House of Commons in the 1830's. Inside dimensions: 16-1/4" high x 22-1/2" wide; outside dimensions: 24" high x 30" wide. Wonderful patina, in very good condition. Prints are foxed, glued down but intact. 3) American School Ettinger print, 20th century. Churchill Ettinger (American 1903-1984), "Nailed Down", drypoint, signed lower right "Churchill Ettinger", titled lower left "ed 100". Housed in a wood frame under glass, 7-5/8" x 8-3/4"; overall 17-3/4" x 18-3/4". Not examined out of the frame; overall discoloration and fading. 4) Black and white photograph of a turn of the century fishing party preparing to board canoes with birch trees and cabins, unsigned. Housed in a folk art bark wood frame; 10-3/4" x 13-3/4"; overall 15-1/4" x 18". Not examined out of frame, photograph is not encased under glass and has buckled. 5) Birch bark frame with commercial offset lithograph of bears hunting salmon, 12-1/2" x 8-1/4"; overall: 15-1/2" x 11-1/4".
