Two overlay glass 'Eight Horses of Mu Wang' snuff bottles


Yangzhou school, 19th centuryEach of slender rectangular form and carved to the sides with eight horses, the shoulders with elongated beast-mask handles; the first in olive-brown over white and bearing an inscription in seal script, bottle 6cm high, stopper; the second in white on cranberry red.Bottle 5.8cm high, stopper (4).
