|“坐禅”是佛教修持的主要途径之一，佛经曰“坐禅思维，莫有懈怠”。禅凳为形制较大的方凳，可双腿盘坐修行。此对禅凳有承明式家具风格，乘坐舒适。凳面为标准格角榫攒边，四框内凳面为软席，下有一根直带作为支承，下展至底为线条明练的直筒腿足。以红木为材运用紫檀雕刻工艺，且成对留世展现，十分难得，其制式为清代禅凳中的经典款式。
