|整座山子以寿山石为材，发色油黄，泽而有光，色呈乳黄，自然拙朴，包浆朗润。工匠随型进行精雕细琢，山石嶙峋，苍松遒劲。下部山石间伫立一头大象，头部回望，鼻子弯卷，四肢粗壮有力，身体庞大浑圆。山林之上，有坐台，上置一抱瓶，敞口束颈，腹部鼓弧，底部下收，并有圈足。整件作品寓意“太平有象”，山石边角经日久摩挲，显得灵光外现。山间树木苍劲，树木枝干转折之感表现的恰到好处。此件山子结合了浮雕、透雕、线刻等工艺，充分利用石材，布局殊妙，琢制有序，于寸天厘地间，万象具焉。山子是一种以山石为主体的立体景观，主要流行于明、清，受到人文雅士的喜爱而大为流行。
