516说明：刘成忠，字子恕，江苏丹徒人。咸丰壬子进士，改庶吉士，授职编修。历官御史，授河南归德府知府。讲求治河之策，宣障有功，旋以剿捻劳绩升河南南汝光道，调开归陈许道，益以治河为急务，着有《河防刍议》，大府深器之。以疾乞休，卒于家。长子梦熊，候选直隶州知府，工书，精算术。次子鹗直隶候补道，亦通天算、医术、金石考订诸书。
