|说明：此几取材自上好的黄杨木为材，几面较为平整，可见层层木纹。底部随形而雕，一气呵成，初看杂乱无章，无具体纹饰可寻，但细细品酌，似有匠师精心设计之独到之处，集镂雕、浮雕等技法于一身，曲折盘绕之根形，其扭转自然之态尽现。黄杨木生长缓慢，《本草纲目》记载：“黄杨性难长，岁仅长一寸，遇闰则反退”。其材质会随时间而色泽加深。
