|说明：此件笔筒取树木近根部一段刳挖精雕，上下镶以硬木作口及底座，以成笔筒之形，取意自然，韵致古拙之气显露无余。平口以嵌银丝饰回纹一周，口壁以嵌螺钿工艺装饰缠枝花卉纹，器壁纹饰随形而就，经匠人巧思，保留树木原有之形态，洞壑穿插，似云如雾，七条苍龙穿梭其间，极具气势，五爪苍龙身姿矫健，时隐时现，双角锋利后仰，凸额怒目，龙须飘扬，鬃发浓密，鳞片毕现，颇有明代宫廷龙纹之特色。|整器取之天然之材，用之精细之功，意趣盎然，做工精细，运刀精确细密，磨砻圆熟光洁，不露刀锋棱角，且集错银丝、嵌螺钿、高浮雕、透雕等多种工艺为一体，包浆厚重老道，呈栗壳色泽，殷红悦目，为明代宫廷文房器物中甚为罕见的品种，实属难得。
