Vintage matte-finish 10.25 x 13.25 profile portrait of Sloan by famed photographer Yousuf Karsh, signed and inscribed in the lower border in fountain pen, "For Mr. & Mrs. Kenneth Browne, with very best regards, Alf. P. Sloan, Jr., N. Y. Jan. 23, 1950.” Signed in the lower left corner by the photographer, "Y. Karsh." Reverse bears a "Karsh Ottawa" copyright stamp numbered "12." Housed in its original Karsh studio presentation folder. In fine condition, with a small crease to the lower right corner tip. Accompanied by a secretarially signed letter from Sloan, dated January 23, 1950.
