A bronze handle formed as an ovoid plaque, curved handle and crescentic lateral extensions; the plaque with female bust holding a basket of fruit, wearing a tunic and headdress, gripping the basket with both hands; handle ribbed with remnants of inlaid design; foliate flanges with central curved bud. 440 grams, 18cm (7 1/4"). From an old Suffolk collection; formed 1990-2000. Fine condition.
