Cullen regarding Dr. Dean Lewis, 1 p, bifolium, 8vo, March 20, c.1920, on his 1201 Eutaw Place stationery, minor soiling at folds.AN INTERESTING NOTE TO CULLEN INTRODUCING DR. DEAN LEWIS. Lewis would succeed Halsted in 1925 as the second Surgeon-in-Chief of the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Accompanied by a photogravure of Halsted in 1922 by Stockdale, and a second of Lewis (c.1925).
