Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong red dragon medallion over blue and white wrapped floral porcelain reward vase. A rounded body leading upward to a long waisted neck into a flaring rim, raised upon a splayed concave foot base. The center exterior is delicately decorated with copper-red underglaze group of dragon forming centralized medallion, interspersed by dense of intertwining red flowers between indigo blue scrolling vines. Banded with repeated geometrical patterns under the collar, and auspicious motifs on rim, shoulder, and foot. Dragon is the symbol of the Emperor, the Son of Heaven, eternity, Yang and Yin, male vigor and fecundity. Unique symbolisms, phoenix tails pattern and Ru-Yi pendants decorated the rim, neckline, shoulder, and foot. The color is balanced, elegant and exquisite. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant finish that was applied by a meticulous glaze craftsman. The glaze terminates above the foot, revealed smooth pale-creme unglazed ground foot rim and dark-grayish firing marks, with the slightly receded central base remain white under glaze.The underside bear a reign mark, a six under-glazed blue seal script characters reign mark, Made in The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
